Volunteers Needed to Join the Mighty Mo Calling Team

Do you have two hours a week to spare?   Want to lend your support to help America’s last battleship? 

The Battleship Missouri Memorial’s Development Department is looking for interested volunteers to join an energetic Calling Team.  The Calling Team volunteers are from all over the United States and provide individual telephone updates to current and past supporters of the “Friends of the Mighty Mo” program. The purpose of the team is to provide a personalized report on the progress in achieving the mission of the Battleship Missouri Memorial and listen to any questions or suggest from supporters. 

This is the perfect opportunity to assist and volunteer from a remote location in the continental United States and still stay connected to the Battleship Missouri Memorial friends & family.  Participation does NOT require any solicitation or selling.   Do you know someone who may be a good referral, send an email to development@ussmissouri.org today!

Responsibilities:

• Communicate via telephone with past supporters of the “Friends of the Mighty Mo” program from a weekly list provided by the Development Department
• Attend a training session via telephone or in person to learn about the Calling Team and the MISSION of the Battleship Missouri Memorial
• Complete calls assigned & send weekly calling reports
• Attend a monthly volunteer meeting by telephone or in person

Hours:
2-hours each week from home

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:

• Good telephone skills including a friendly attitude and good manners
• Believe in the Mission of the Battleship Missouri Memorial
• Great organizational and time management skills
• Ability to summarize & relay any feedback or questions  to staff
• Be able to start ASAP
