Volunteers Needed for the Mighty Mo’s Development Information Booth

Ever wanted to work on a pier in Pearl Harbor?  Do you have four hours to spare each week to greet guests? 

The Battleship Missouri Memorial’s Development Department is looking for volunteer information officers for its Membership & Information booth located on the pier of the Battleship Missouri Memorial on historic Ford Island, Pearl Harbor. Volunteers will work with staff to engage guests and help manage a "will call" center that holds orientation materials for arriving members as part of our 10 Year Anniversary celebration.

Responsibilities: 

• Activate introductory membership cards
• Answer membership questions & requests
• Inform of promotions and benefits of membership
• Direct guests to find answers to inquiries
• Distribute 10-Year Anniversary gifts to qualified members

Hours:

• One 4-hour shift, 1 day or more per week
• Shifts are from 8 a.m.-12 pm or 12-4 p.m.

Qualifications --The ideal candidate should:

• Possess good customer service and communication skills
• Be computer literate or interested in learning how to run reports
• Be able to start on May 15
