Q: What are the different levels of membership available?
A: There are three initial membership benefit levels: Individual ($40), Family ($75), and Organization ($200).
Q: What is different about the 2008 Membership Program than before?
A: Anyone who gives a donation of $40 or more to the Battleship Missouri Memorial is part of the “Friends of the Mighty Mo” program.
Q: How long does it take to receive my Membership card?
A: Once your application has been received, please allow one to two weeks for your membership materials to arrive in the mail. When you visit, just show your membership card at the Ticketing Office to gain entry to the Battleship and to receive a discount at the retail shops.
Q: Can I visit the Battleship Missouri before receiving my membership card?
A: Yes! Please call the Membership office to verify your membership status. Your membership packet will be waiting for you at the Ticketing Office.
Q: If I pay for admission to the Battleship Missouri, can I apply those costs towards purchasing a membership?
A: Absolutely! However, you must bring your admission receipt to the Ticketing Office on the same day to apply your costs towards membership.
Q: Can I buy a membership as a gift?
A: Sure! Any level of membership is available as a gift and may be purchased at our Ticketing Office, online, by phone or through the mail. Additional benefits can be added to your gift membership too!
Q: Does the Battleship Missouri offer any discount on membership?
A: At this time we do not have a discount for membership.
Q: Is my membership good for a calendar year, or for a full year from time of purchase?
A: Memberships are good for one full year from the quarter month of your purchase. The quarters are January, April, July, and October. If you are renewing, please be assured that your new membership year will begin when your current membership expires - there's never a penalty for renewing early!
Q: Can I put more names than just my own on a membership?
A: Depending on which level, you may receive between 1-4 Membership Cards.
Q: What if there is a mistake on my card?
A: If there is an error on your card(s), please call the Membership office to correct the error and have a new(s) card printed.
Q: Can I give my membership card to a friend/relative to use for a visit?
A: Sorry, the member must be present. Please use your free admission tickets to give to guests.
Q: How can I upgrade my membership to a higher level?

A: Depending on your membership level, there are various events throughout the year. Yes, you must RSVP by calling or emailing the Membership office. Generally, member events are for members only, unless the invitation specifically mentions that guests are permitted.

Q: I've lost my Membership card. What should I do?
A: Call the Membership office at (808)455-1600 x244 or e-mail development@ussmissouri.org There will be a $5.00 replacement fee.
Q: Will the Battleship Missouri send me a renewal reminder?
A: Yes, the Museum will notify you 60-90 days prior to your expiration date to renew your membership. Remember to renew early so you do not have an interruption in your membership benefits.
Q: I just renewed my membership and received another renewal notice. Did you receive my payment?
A: Sometimes during the renewal process, paid memberships and renewal notices cross in the mail. To verify that payment has been received, please call the Membership office at (808) 455-1600 x244.
Q: How do I arrange for my tours and free facility use benefits?
A: Call (808)455-1600 x 244 or email development@ussmissouri.org the Development department two weeks in advance with the date/time desired. We will arrange an itinerary and team on our special event logistics sheet.
