Thank you Louis and all of you who participated in the Battleship Missouri Memorial Annual Contribution Survey! Your insight provided critical feedback to enhance our ongoing relationship with supporters and fulfill the mission of the memorial. We received hundreds of survey responses and are excited to incorporate your feedback into our future plans.

Here are some highlights from the survey:

• Several generations were represented with ages ranging from 20 to 96 years old
• People from nearly all U.S. states and every branch of military service responded
• More than 90% would consider recommending membership to a friend or family member
• The most important aspects of the USS Missouri Memorial Association were reported as preserving the memorial and ship and advancing educational experiences for people of all ages
• Nearly 40% of respondents have never visited the ship in person
• Ideas for public events included 9/11 remembrance, education about the role of the Navy in WWII, and lectures from original crew members
• Members are most interested in preservation initiatives as well as membership, memorial and public events

We look forward to continuing this annual survey as we work to preserve the legacy of the Missouri in this 10th anniversary year and beyond.
